Clovelly
This pretty fishing village is famous for its
cobbled main street that winds its way
down among charming cottages. Still
a working fishing harbour, Clovelly has a

Hartland Quay
Hartland’s rough, rugged and visually
breathtaking coastline is well worth a visit
at any time of the year. Also nearby is the
historic country estate of Hartland Abbey,
and Stoke church.

 
The Gnome Reserve – near Bradworthy
A delightful and original place to visit. See thousands of gnomes and pixies in the beautiful wildlife gardens and Gnome Museum. You can even borrow a gnome hat for your visit, and a fishing rod!
Sandy beaches
There is an abundance of clean, sandy beaches: the dramatic Bude coastline, the golden sands of Westward Ho!, Croyde Bay, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands.

Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park
Wolves, monkeys, penguins and birds are just some of the wildlife to be seen. See the fantastic, life-sized, interactive  model dinosaurs and take a walk around the beautiful botanical gardens.
Ruby Country Trails
The area surrounding Holsworthy has a
number of designated walking and cycling
routes – a great way to see the countryside. Riding is another popular leisure activity the area can offer.

 
Watermouth Castle – nr. Combe Martin
An enchanting castle that has loads to
see and do – including castle treasures, dungeon labyrinths, Adventureland, the maze, the Mystical Water Gardens, swing boats and lots more.
Ilfracombe
This famous Victorian harbour town has a
fabulous coastline for walking and plenty
to do and see in the town itself – from crazy golf to the annual Victorian Festival and a night at the theatre.

We are centrally located for all three National Parks: Exmoor to the north, Dartmoor to the south and Bodmin Moor to the south-west. All within moderate driving distance ... the scenery is stunning.

Every Tuesday at 10am this ancient and fascinating market is the scene of a poultry and plant auction, and has all the bustle and colour you’d expect from a thriving farming community.
