Traditional style with modern conveniences
Behind the natural stone exterior, the traditional
beamed ceilings and the stone and oak floors, is all the
modern, comfortable, convenient household equipment you
would expect from a sympathetic country cottage
conversion. We work hard to make your stay pleasant,
trouble-free and memorable. Logs are provided for the
wood-burning stove, but there is also oil-fired
central heating if you need it, and there is easy access
to the garden.
The Shippen has two double bedrooms with iron bedsteads,
a bathroom with WC, a Victorian-style roll-top bath and
a shower cubicle. Duvets, linen and towels are all
provided. Pamphlets and details of local
attractions and places to visit are available.
