Relaxed family atmosphere At Berry Barns you'll receive a warm welcome from a relaxed, friendly family. The Shippen and Lakeside Lodge are part of our 25 acre small holding. You'll have the chance to see our Highland cattle, ducks, geese, chickens and other animals depending on the time of year. We are keen on the natural things in life and have used the warmth of local stone and reclaimed oak in the Shippen, whilst going modern and carbon neutral [meaning free energy] in the Lodge with under floor heating, air source heat pump and p.v. solar panels.

		We want your stay to be comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. Both properties are clean and bright .The Shippen has been superbly renovated in traditional style, whilst the Lodge is modern but still traditional with natural oak floors both have all the little luxuries and necessities that will give you complete peace of mind. John is a keen and knowledgeable angler, and if you want to try a bit of fishing there are two purpose built lakes where you can enjoy the quiet of the countryside with the brooding backdrop of the Dartmoor tors. 4 star accredited with Quality in Tourism
